The Prairie features beautiful round dowels in both the headboard and footboard which leave the look of the bed open but accent the curves of the bed. Standard construction of the Prairie includes 35″ height headboard from the floor. Our frames are built with a bit of extra space inside the slat platform to accommodate basic mattress sizes, which can sometimes differ up to an inch. Top of slats (where you put your mattress) measures 13″ from the floor. All platform frames have a 10″ clearance from floor to side rail. Slats are made from spruce and are approximate 3 inches apart. Please allow 3-5 weeks delivery
