Our frames are built with a bit of extra space inside the slat platform to accommodate basic mattress sizes, which can sometimes differ up to an inch. Top of slats (where you put your mattress) measures 13″ from the floor. All platform frames have a 10″ clearance from floor to side rail. Slats are made from POPLAR WOOD which provide a cleaner, sturdier non-splintered slat and are approximate 3 inches apart. Please allow 3-5 weeks delivery
