There’s something ancient and sacred about the jungles of Costa Rica. Tucked into the green heart of the rainforest, I found myself beneath a cathedral of trees, where the air was thick with birdsong, and the sunlight filtered in like golden lace through the canopy.
We went zip-lining over the treetops—soaring like a bird over tangled green kingdoms that stretched beyond the horizon. I felt small, wild, alive, and at times a bit terrified!
Hiking through the lush rainforest, we were completely enveloped by life—ferns unfurling, vines dripping from above, the call of toucans echoing through the trees. We spotted howler monkeys leaping from branch to branch and vibrant blue morpho butterflies fluttering like bits of sky. Every step felt like walking through a living, breathing masterpiece.
We soaked in natural hot springs heated by the Earth itself, steam rising like whispers into the canopy above. It was a place where time softened—where nature held us gently, reminding us to slow down, to listen.
And then, there it was: the quiet, ancient reverence. Towering trees with roots so wide they seemed to cradle the forest itself. You can’t stand under a canopy like that and not feel something shift. It’s humbling, grounding. It reminds you—we are not separate from this Earth. We are the Earth. We belong to her, not the other way around.
And then—Tamarindo.
A shift in rhythm. From lush forest to salt-kissed breeze. Tamarindo is a beach town that cradles your soul at golden hour. The sunsets there don’t just color the sky—they quiet the world. I captured them with my camera, yes, but more importantly, I captured them in stillness, in awe. Every fiery sky felt like the Earth whispering, “I am art. I am home.”
In those moments—whether suspended over the rainforest or sunk into warm sand—I thought about what it means to live with the Earth, not just on it. And that’s what we try to embody at CozyPure. We craft our bedding with the same reverence: honoring the planet’s resources, choosing materials that breathe, renew, and last. Our organic mattresses and blankets are like soft sanctuaries, echoing the canopy overhead or the hush of ocean waves.
Earth Month reminds us to protect these places—but also to be inspired by them. To bring the essence of wild nature home. Maybe that’s in the form of a cozy organic blanket dyed the shade of rainforest moss, or a flowing canopy above your bed that makes you feel like you’re nestled in the treetops.
Because the Earth is not just something to save—it’s something to savor.
